Vinyasa Flow, all levels

One breath at the time with our gentle and flowy Vinyasa yoga class. This style is suitable for all practitioners to increase flexibility and strength. It is an excellent work for the body and the mind. You will learn to cultivate an awareness that links each action to the next. Vinyasa classes challenge you to explore your full potential in an uplifting and creative way.

Yin Yoga, all levels

Yin Yoga is a practice with passively held floor poses, typically deep stretches are held for 3 minutes per pose in order to heal the joints and connective tissues. The Yin is the opposite of the Yang which means the practice is slow and quiet, suitable for students of all levels of experience. There is a focus on the breath, being present in the moment, relieving tension and letting go.

Vinyasa Flow, Level 1

One breath at the time with this Yoga Vinyasa flow Level 1. This style is suitable for intermediate practitioners that want to take their practice to the next level. The class will increase flexibility and strength but also bring more challenging poses on the mats such as arm balances, inversions and deeper backbends. It is an excellent work for the body and the mind. You will learn to cultivate an awareness that links each action to the next. Vinyasa classes challenge you to explore your full potential in an uplifting and creative way.

Rocket Yoga / Level 1

It is a dynamic practice where we move through the rhythm of a deep breathing. This style of yoga was developed during the eighties by Larry Schultz, a student of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. The structure is similar to the Ashtanga Vinyasa, but allowing more freedom, variations and modification that can be adapted to any level of practitioners, adding some creativity and fun. A practice that will not leave you indifferent!

Power Yoga, all levels

Power Yoga, a discipline where we practice asanas in a dynamic and energetic way. It tones the body and at the same time it helps us to control the mind. The practice of Power yoga is characterized by its vigorous movements with an influence of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, combined with synchronized breathing exercises.

Ashtanga Vinyasa, Level 1

Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic, flowing style that connects the movement of the body with the breath. The method stresses the importance of daily practice of a set series of movements. There are six series of Ashtanga yoga sequences, which the student progresses through at their own pace.

Warm Yoga Flow

This warm yoga flow is based on the Barkan Method is rooted in a lineage from Calcutta in India, and has evolved its approach to helping people heal physically, mentally and spiritually. It also integrates postures from other styles of Yoga to create variations, versatility and even greater range of motion. The practice brings balance, strengths and restores all systems to optimal health. Consistency will create a physical, mental and spiritual harmony. The class is led in a warm room.

Hatha Yoga, all levels

A gentle class focusing on flowing from pose to pose and linking the movement with the breath. The professor will offer a variety of modifications to encourage participation of everyone. We do sitting, standing, and inverted postures, and suggest challenging variations for more advanced students.

YIN YANG YOGA, with massage balls, all levels

This class combines a “Yang” vinyasa flow to improve flexibility and strength. The class is followed by a quiet and cooling 'Yin' practice. Yin postures are held longer to cultivate a meditative mindset and deeper physical opening. The class includes massage balls to relief tissues, removing physical stress and tension.

Yoga & Mind

Yoga & Guided Meditation , all levels

This class combines yoga and meditation to create a deeply nurturing experience and an opportunity for you to pause and reflect within your day. An experienced teacher will guide you through a gentle yoga class and will incorporate for the last part of the class a combination of guided meditation and tools, which can also be integrated into everyday life.

Yoga & Soul

Vinyasa Flow & Sound Bath, All Levels

One breath at the time with our gentle and flowy Vinyasa yoga class. This style is suitable for all practitioners to increase flexibility and strength. It is an excellent work for the body and the mind. You will learn to cultivate an awareness that links each action to the next. Vinyasa classes challenge you to explore your full potential in an uplifting and creative way. We will finish with a healing sounds bath, relaxing your body, soul and mind totally.

Donation Class

A donation is the sacred act of giving. There is a suggested donation starting at 5 Euro per class. The class is given by a newly trained teacher and the money will support local or international non-profit organizations selected once a month.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I need to do as a new student?

Our classes are designed to suit all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners as of 18 years old. You don’t need to be fit or flexible to start yoga. We encourage each student to always listen to their body and never to push themselves too far. If you are in any doubt about your ability to participate in our classes depending on your health conditions, please seek the approval of your doctor.

Do ...

Try different styles to see which one fits you, personally and physically. / Tell the teacher if it is your first class. / Ask for help if you need it. / Come back to discover different classes in a few days.

Don't ...

Don’t forget to drink water before and after the class. / Don’t wear socks during class, maintain firmly your feet on the mat and let the energy flow. / Don’t be intimidated, yoga is not about performance but about being connected with your body, breath and mind.

What should I bring to class?

Just yourself and comfortable clothes! Mats are always available at no extra charge at Myoga Studio and we provide high-quality Manduka mats for every student. We have hand-towels if you tend to be on the sweatier side ! We do not sell bottled water, but have filtered water & cups readily available.

Why should I try Hot Yoga? (Barkan Method)

One of the unique benefits of hot yoga is the detoxification of the body (cleansing) and the reduction of injuries due to the greater flexibility of the body in a hot environment. It develops strength and mental focus. It tones the body along with other forms of cardiovascular exercise. Hot yoga addresses the overall health of the body in a very comprehensive way.

Do I have to pay in advance or I can I pay at the studio?

We have many methods, we prefer Mindbody as it allows us to prepare the classes better for you, pay online using our MindBody booking system (download MindBody Connect App to see our full schedule and book your place). Also always available, card and cash payments at the studio, and if it is your first time, make sure to be at the studio 15 minutes in advance.

What if I am late?

Even if we are willing to allow our customers to arrive (a little) late, we do not encourage this, and we need to be mindful of other yogis who arrive on time.

Are the materials clean?

We do our best to make sure to provide you with top products and clean mat and hand towel and to wash the floor after each class. The studio is cleaned daily with eco-friendly soap and disinfectant.
