Psychotherapeutic Yoga focuses on traditional yoga poses and neurobiology science. It is a brain-body approach, working on the regulation of your nervous system, positively affecting your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
During this workshop, we will explore the multiple aspects of our nervous system and how we can get back to regulation with simple and easy poses and pranayamas such as:
- Understanding our nervous system and how it works,
- The different aspects of our nervous system: fight and flight, rest and digest, freeze mode,
- How to up-regulate or down-regulate the energy with specific poses and breathing techniques.
Lydie will also guide you through a balancing yoga practice to renew your energy and harmonize your body and mind. We will end the class with a sound bath for a profound sense of inner calm and tranquility. The yoga class is suitable for beginners, making it accessible to all levels.
We’ll finish with a delicious brunch prepared by our chef Alejandra from Green Urban Kitchen. Get ready to awaken your senses and savor the enchanting flavors of vegan gluten-free cuisine!
Given the shift in focus toward health promotion, it is not surprising that the use of complementary health approaches has increased in the past several years among medical treatments. About the teacher and Chef
Lydie is the Founder of Myoga Studio. She is a Swiss native and has always been passionate about the science of yoga and beyond. Read her biography here.
Alejandra is the Founder of Green Urban Kitchen, she is a vegan and vegetarian chef that loves to prepare nourishing food.
